San Ting, mayor of New Santhrim

San Ting, 37, is a noble of the old school. Granted an, in some peoples eyes, worthy position as manager of the new colony, San made the best of it, as it clearly shows from the estate he resides in. Being the first to set foot in the new land, he quickly claimed it, and established New Santhrim. If it cost a few dusin slaves to build the wall and the mansion, so be it.

San is the essence of a gentleman, at least in public, but anyone who gets in his bad side, especially anyone from the working class, are quickly dealt with. Any rulebreakers or troublemakers are despised by him, only people who follow the rules and whom he can see uses the possibilities of the new land will get on his good side.

San Ting's goal, at this moment, is to expand the influence and wealth of New Santhrim. One of his long time dreams is to become king of the empire, however unlikely. But he is content with ruling New Santhrim, for now.
