Jungberg

Backstory
Jungberg, 33 years old. Jungberg was brought up as the only son of a wealthy farmer. His mother died in childbirth. His father was an influential man who early in his life started dabbling in politics. When Jungberg were 15 years old his father left the management of the farm in the hands of Jungberg and moved to the city where he became an advicer to the King himself. There things were seemingly going well until his father made the terrible mistake of starting an affair with the wife of a high-ranking officer who where a close friend of the king. When he were cought “red-handed” the officer killed Jungberg’s father, as was the right of any man who found his wife committing adultry with another man.
As Jungberg had not yet come of age the lands of his father were seized and Jungberg were left with nothing. Or rather – almost nothing. He managed to save most of his fathers considerable savings. As he knew he would never have a chance of starting up a new life in this world, due to his fathers mistakes, he decided to join an expedition to a far away land rumoured to not to have been explored by any humans before. Along with Aldan and SanTing he were amongst the first settlers of the new land. He watched in disgust while SanTing had the great city walls constructed by slaves imported from far away lands. Many of them died and Jungberg swore to himself that he would never live inside that city while SanTing was the mayor. He did, however, keep up appearances and kept a civil relationship with Mayor SanTing whom he knew he was dependend on. While SanTing had the great city build Jungberg used his fathers money to pay workers to help build him a small farm outside of town. There he would take up the only craft he knew – farming.
While trying to stay away from the politics of the city, and out of sight of any new arrivals who might know who his father really is, he is now making a meager living off the crops and animals of his farm. His fathers money ran out a long time ago and it is doubtfull whether he can support himself on the money he earns selling bread and meat to the citizens of Santhrim.

Personality
Jungberg leads a quiet life, mostly keeping to himself. He is always willing to help when someone has a problem, and therefore he is known and liked by most. He does however not have a lot of real friends as he is very reserved and almost never invites people to his home outside the city-wallls.
